Welcome to the USS Victorious!
Destiny calls in many ways. Who will answer their own individual call. For some its a lifetime of training and preparation, for others the time comes quickly or in an unexpected manner. All however will find a sense or belonging, a chance to do something greater than themselves. Each new day brings new challenges.
Our predecessors USS Harbinger and USS Hokkaido have a long legacy serving the Federation. That task has now been given to a new Vikrant Class ship, USS Victorious. Come help us continue the honor and tradition of carrying a mighty torch. We are the guardians of the night.
Its not always easy. We choose to defend those who cannot protect themselves. The year is 2388, though the Dominion war is over and Exploration is a priority dark tides are rising once again. As the balance of power shifts and tensions rise Starfleet faces it toughest task yet. Who will have the strength and courage to survive?

Please contact me privately and let me know your status. There are two JP's in work with the CO that have stalled. Additionally I've only heard from one crew member recently.
I'm starting a recruiting campaign and Department Head positions are at risk if you don't respond and stay active. Currently no one has requested an LOA.
Additionally I also want to hear what you'd like to see on the sim or what interests you for missions. I've asked for input an left it open but haven't heard back from you.
Pleas also let me know if you all want to just start a new mission or continue with the current one

Ok its far to quiet. We need people posting on a regular basis. I don't know whether you are confused, don't like the current mission or are just busy. I've been trying to leave it open for you guys to add your creative touch.
Currently we're traveling through space after a short stop over at Earth. During that time the ship was searched and it was determined that something is affecting the systems but we don't know what. Our search and investigation into the strange happenings continues. Our main objective is to find out what this thing is and why its taken us off course.
Here are the required posts for this coming week:
Marines and Security: Searching the inside of the ship, responding to reports from various sections of the ship
Fighters: On recon outside the ship for checking the surrounding space and doing an exterior survey of Victorious. Its up to you guys to determine that Victorious has moved away from its original course. When you aren't flying you also witnessing sightings of this thing on the Flight Deck, etc
Sickbay: Treat injuries from reported sightings
XO and Command Staff: Help coordinate efforts to find answers
I'd like to see everyone submit subplot idea and or ideas for future missions. This is a group effort. Lets see your creativity.

Posting levels are unacceptable. The current backposts are to be halted. I've said before they are only stalling the sims progress and I'll say it one last time.
I'm reminding everyone that one post a week is the requirement. To be more specific that's preferably 3 mission related posts and one personal log. If people fail to meet that standard there will be consequences.
Insubordinate behavior by players in or out of character will not be tolerated. In fact that will led to immediate removal from the sim. There's been too much of it already and actions will be taken to deal with that.
We are going to move forward and come out stronger.

Please take a look at the following link and get your submissions into me as soon as possible, the deadline I'm setting is Jan 9th. This will give me time to file the final nominations from Victorious and send them to the Fleet Services Director by Jan 11th. In years past we've been seriously lacking in participation in this please take this chance to honor the crew's hard work and dedication in a unique way.
